Paul J. Buckholtz:
Mr. Buckholtz holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is a registered professional engineer in the States of Washington and Alaska and is a panel member of the American Arbitration Association. He has written and lectured on the subject of schedule analysis and delay claims, and has developed computerized cost estimating and reporting systems for monitoring and controlling project construction costs. He has provided expert testimony in a number of construction disputes and has represented construction lenders on projects as diverse as hotels, apartment complexes, shopping malls, Native American gaming facilities, and the 76-story Columbia Center. Mr. Buckholtz' background includes experience as a field project engineer, structural engineer, general contractor, and regional manager for a national construction consulting firm.
James H. Snyder:
Mr. Snyder holds an undergraduate degree and a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in Industrial Education. He is a registered, professional engineer in the State of Washington and is a certified cost engineer. He has taught construction management courses including estimating, scheduling, cost control, company management, and construction labor relations on a full and part-time basis at the university level. He has written and presented numerous papers on scheduling, performance measurement, labor productivity, and construction management education. He has performed claims analysis on construction disputes and has had managerial and field experience with contractors, owners, and architecture-engineering firms as a field engineer, project manager, performance auditor, project director, and director of construction services. His project experience includes office buildings, hotels, parking garages, warehouses, apartment complexes, hospitals, research laboratories, shopping centers, manufacturing plants, nuclear power plants, highways, bridges, and various other public works projects.
James H. Felch:
Mr. Felch holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree, a Certificate of Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington Extension, and is a registered Architect in the State of Washington. He has more than twenty years experience in the architectural design profession including management and production of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, preparation permit applications, coordination of engineering design disciplines, quality control, and construction administration. He has worked with Paul J. Buckholtz and Associates beginning in 2003. He has evaluated numerous new construction projects, reporting on the suitability of contract documents and construction budgets, followed by monthly construction review reports for lenders. He is experienced in physical condition evaluations of existing properties including estimating the cost to remedy deficiencies and deferred maintenance, and projecting capital replacement costs. His experience consulting with lenders and equity to minimize risk includes a broad range of property types including multi-family residential, industrial, and commercial developments.
